The Column That Started It All

Here is a link to one of the "columns that started it all" as I'd like to call them (the real headlines are...well, they are what they are). Ever since these columns I've wanted to know what was being done about crime in the UCF area. It's something that I can't get out of my head, hence this blog.

Crime is a serious problem around here. Sure it's worse elsewhere but how come the same types of muggings and burglaries happen from week to week? And in the same areas. A kid in my poetry writing class even wrote a poem about how his apartment was robbed and his friend mugged outside his door in the same month. He lived in Pegasus Connection but has since moved out. He can't be the only person living like this.
